Long May You Run

6.15 am miles 54:03  8:47 ave.  Ran in the rain, 40°, here comes winter.  I'm ready!

7.1 pm miles 57:48  8:09 ave.  B street route.  I ran pretty hard, felt good, I felt strong.  Light snow up on 11th ave.  Some of my miles were 7:47  7:40 and 7:35.  Running up B street is an average killer.

6.65 am miles 54:47  8:14 ave.  Great run today, felt light and strong.  Warm morning, 44° wore shorts.  I've been in pants all week so shorts felt good.  Looks like it pretty much nothing but pants from here on out until March.

10 miles 1:20:38  8:04 ave.  Snowstorm run, quite heavy.  out and back from home.  Out 40:40 8:08 ave, Back 39:58  8:00.  Love running in the snow.

10 miles back and forth behind the Capitol and 11th ave.  Late morning run, lots of sunshine, cool temps just above freezing.  1:22:35  8:16 pace

4.65 miles, no watch.  Cold morning, sub 30°.  Feeling sick, stayed home from work and didn't run the last two days.  Back to work today.

Perfect day for a race.  One of the very few times I've been able to wear shorts for this race.  Last year the temp was 0°, this year it was probably about 40°.

I was happy to pick up 3rd in my age group.  My running has been very spotty the last two months with life interfering with my routine and fighting a cold which I think is finally behind me.

Once again I was soundly beaten by another high school cross country coach, this time it was the one from Park City.  Why do all the cross country coaches in the area have to be 45-49?  You guys are making it very difficult for me!
