I talked to a trainer about my knee yesterday. It was somewhat unofficial, as we both just happened to be at BWW, but it is about darn time! He thinks I have bursitis- one of my past self diagnoses. If this is the case there is really nothing I can do except try to mitigate it with stretching and strengthening (especially the muscle along the inside of my quads). When it happens the only thing I can do is ice, rest, etc. What I am frustrated about is it has seemed in my past that it requires complete rest (of all activities) and for months to get the swelling down. I think I am going to go talk to the athletic trainers officially some time before school starts. Because I can feel it just while I sit here and type. Not pain but stiffness and throbbing. I don't want it :( |
