Totally on pace until mile 22.  Walked x 3 before that.  Became really hot. Could not get heart rate down.  Highest before stopping to walk after mile 22 - 8 more times 187!!    So bummed I could not get it together.  Came in at half 1:51:59. Pace band said to be there at 1:52.   But I dropped my salt tabs after I took two at mile 15 and I kind of panicked that I didn't have that.  I had no cramping. No pains. My knee was taped and it felt amazing. I felt strong the entire time until mile 19.5.  I fumbled to find my last gel. I took only a banana before the race bc I accidentally slept through my alarm or it didn't go off.  I was supposed to meet up with pacers at 330 am. And I got up at 332 am.  I was so upset and I forgot to get any food.  So got only a banana at the start.  I slept really poorly before that.  So I guess I needed that.  Amber did so amazing ! 4:15:35.  I really thought she would crash bc she only ran one 18 miler three weeks before.  I was super proud of her !  We met each other at the start.  Took a pic. Stood in line at potties. I took a pace group pic. And time flew.  I had two potty stops first half. Mile 9 and mile 13.   A min for second one. 30 seconds first. I really love this course. Just gotta figure out how to be happy at that finish and not have my heart rate freak.  Troy brooke David Kyle Courtney and Evangeline were cheering us at mile 22 !  Ice cold cloths. So refreshing !  But I was dead.  A reminder of last year !
