8 very boring treadmill miles. My legs felt pretty good. I ran very slow. I'm looking forward to our running group's little 1/2 marathon tomorrow. Cheryl is great and has mapped out a course for us.
You are great to run today. I was so tired and sore and really didn't want to but finally convinced myself to go bike.

I told Jerry to tell you to do some -3.0 decline runs at the treadmills at the gym to train for SGM, but I'll tell you myself too. I find they have really helped prepare me for the downhills, and you can hold a faster pace than you would on a flat at the same effort, so they make great recovery runs too.
I agree with Jody... 8 miles on the dreadmill - yikes! I can run happily (if not strong) for 4 hours out on the roads but put me on the machine and I'll be whining within 20 minutes. Good for you!
