I met the group at Riverton High.  We ran a 2.8 mile warm up.  Then a few of us went to the track.  Peggy had us run 6 x 800's with a 400 recovery after each one.  I ran them with Cheris and Michelle N.  My times were:

3:32    3:26    3:21   3:20    3:22   3:25

I love this work out.  I wish could have stayed longer and got a few more repeats in.  I had to get home to get my kids off.  I ran 2 more miles on the treadmill after my son left.

You were so awesome today. I got to know you and Cheris a lot from the back. Ha, ha. You are doing so well with your training and I think you are going to do great at SG.

Hi Julie. Read under the comment in my blog. I answered your question. Also have you heard of Yasso 800s? It is from Bob Yasso who was an elite runner. He said if you run an 800 in 3:20 (or whatever the time) and can repeat it for 10 times then you can run a marathon in that time(3:20). From your average it looks like you will be under 3:30 by a good margin. Yahoo!!!!

Hey Julie. Sorry I missed your comment. I have heard of Yasso 800s. I have always wanted to try them. I'm planning on doing them again in a couple weeks. Hopefully I can get in 10-12. I was just reading your blog. You are so amazing. I can't believe all the challenges you have had to go through with your health. You sound like such an amazing person. It would be so fun to see you at SF half. Although I think you will be finishing that one way before me.
