Shaved off a mile or two by driving to the closed gates. Got to the Mormon Trailhead and remembered I don’t like this trail too much. Just slow creek following uphill. Today was covered in snow and super slippery. Pulled the knife out when I heard something growl behind me. Once I finally peaked out I couldn’t fully bomb down 65 because the turns were covered in snow and ice too. Still really enjoyed the run/slow hike. Saw some deer. Saw some elk and moose tracks. Even got snowed on for the last couple of miles. 14.26 miles
