I had planned on running with Cheris and Julie today but they both had things come up so I called Paula and she was great to come along. We ran the first 8 together. I was very tired from yesterday's long tempo run so the beginning was VERY slow, but I was okay with that because I was combining a long run with a recovery run - not the best combination. I felt great when I dropped Paula off at 8 miles and then continued on my own. I ended up picking up the pace as the run went on and felt really good. The IT band was a little sore from miles 7 - 10 but then ended up feeling good after that. Nice to feel good for a long run. Ave Pace 9:06 Happy Running!
