Complete Rest, Day 4:  I woke up this morning with absolutely no pain!  I was so happy until I put on my heels and went to work.  They are definitely contributing to my issue.   Overall I am feeling pretty good.  Some tightness around my IT band and a little muscle pain in the calf.   I am going to have to be creative with what I wear to work to get away from heels but knowing they are contributing makes it an easy fix.

Complete Rest, Day 5:   Not much change from yesterday.  Overall not a lot of pain but some twinges.  Not really sure what to expect if I ran.  The big change is the weight I have gained -yikes!!  Need to do better but wallowing in food.  I will say - this is probably the best time to be injured.  My work is completely out of control this week so I have been able to put in some extra hours so that I do not drown.  2 days left to go ......

Complete Rest, Day6:  Almost done - Hooray!  Not sure what to expect on Friday but I am trying not to get my hopes up.    I spent today contributing to my weight gain - Ate at the Cheesecake Factory, on my work.  Never a good thing.  Felt slightly ill all afternoon, then went to pick up Camdyn from my sister's and she sent home left over Easter Candy, so I contributed to helping her get rid of it by consuming lots of it.  Stress Eating is never a good thing!  Need to get back to running to help me deal with life and feel more like myself!

Complete Rest, Day 7:  Yeah!  I made it a full week.  My leg is feeling much better, I am not sure how it will hold up to running but I am walking very well and not having issues in the night.  I had to walk about .3 miles today to a meeting and another .3 back to my car and I walk very fast because I was cold and forgot a jacket.  All this in a low wedge hill with out any pain - This is a good sign.  Running tomorrow with Paula for a short easy run.  My eating was much  better today- breakfast, missed lunch do to my meeting but had a yogurt and crackers later in the afternoon.

Glad to be back at it today!  I will miss my lazy days and couch potato life.  My leg felt pretty good today and other than the wind it was not to bad.  Ended with a little walk home, some stretching and planks.

Four with Paula today.  My leg felt about the same as yesterday, definitely not 100%, but not painful.  I am continuing with the taking it easy and will so for the next few weeks.  

I am looking forward to Conference weekend.  It is always so relaxing and nice to just sit on the couch and listen.
