Complete Rest, Day 4:  I woke up this morning with absolutely no pain!  I was so happy until I put on my heels and went to work.  They are definitely contributing to my issue.   Overall I am feeling pretty good.  Some tightness around my IT band and a little muscle pain in the calf.   I am going to have to be creative with what I wear to work to get away from heels but knowing they are contributing makes it an easy fix.

Happy Running!

Jody,

Congratulations on your pain-fee day.

I just got a new pair of Rockport heels, they are pretty nice and comfy (though still heels). I have been weaning myself off of heels (unless I am wearing a suit) and it has done wonders for me!!

Glad to hear you are doing better. Get rid of those heels! hehe, I cant even walk straight in a pair. I am better off in tennie shoes and flipflops!

Don't you love those words - "no pain" !!! Yea!!! Wow, I just looked over your goals again; I didn't realize that you wanted to run a marathon in July. Are you still planning that? Awesome!!

I'm with Marcie. Throw those heels away. I only wear heels to church. Mostly because my husband doesn't like me being taller than him. :-) Glad to hear no pain today. You'll be running in no time.

I'm glad you are starting to feel better - REST is the magic cure!!! I would definitely get rid of the heels and dress more for comfort at work. Talk to you later.

Brent - It would make for quite the outfit. Most my work pants - dress pants are made to wear with heels. They would not look nice. I have started taking my heels off and walking in stocking feet as long as I stay near my office, but if I need to go further than 1 row of cubies I feel out of place and put them back on. I really need to address my whole wardrobe - Maybe I need a job that does not require business dress - I need my husbands job, mostly pajama 's.
