| 7:15am...4 miles with Moxie before going out with Justin. We ran 6 miles into SRL and back. Cold (but warmer than yesterday) and had a fun time with him. Justin ran in my Xodus to keep his feet warm and for better traction. 10 miles total this morning. (Ride 3)

10K untimed at lunch on a very nice day (sunshine, 27 degrees, calm). I got tangled up with a dog less than a half mile in, tweaked hammy a bit, took another mile for it to feel "better". Nice to get some sun! (Mirage Red)

| 6am...too cold outside for a workout so I went to the gym. 1 mile warmup then into a 5K effort run. 5k in 16:45, 1 mile recovery, 1 mile at 4:52, 2 mile recovery with a fast finish. First workout in a while where I felt I had to puke (several times). Calves are fried. Now for a busy day off. (Fastwitch Red)

| I was tired and a bit sore from yesterday's workout, plus we have a busy morning with Katelyn's swim meet so I decided to sleep in and I will try to squeeze in a run later today.
8 miles in just at an hour. Started off with Justin and Matthew and ran to SRL. They turned around at 2.5 mile mark, I kept going to 3 miles and ended up catching them back about 0.1 from home. I went back out for 2 slow miles,,.really feeling yesterdays workout. (Fastwitch Red)

I think that my hamstring issue is proximal/high hamstring tendinopathy, not just a hamstring strain. Might be looking at some time off from running to get over this. Time to spin with Kami in the mornings and lift more?

| Gave my hamstring a rest this morning and went to the gym to lift weights. Way weaker than when I did this as my primary exercise, but it is coming back. May do a light run at lunch schedule depending.
5 very easy miles on a cold day (14 degrees) at lunch. Leg felt pretty good, have it wrapped again. (Ride 3 2013)

| Skipped a morning workout to sleep in a bit and did some rehab exercises at home before work.
6 very easy miles at lunch on a sunny, calm and cool 18 degree day. Hammy felt good, glute a bit tight. (Ride 3 2013)
Spinning class with Kami after work, good workout to help with rehab. Got a really bad calf cramp right at the end of the class...hard to even get off the bike and walk.

| I tried to run before church today but it was a sheet of ice everywhere...could not even walk on the concrete/asphalt surfaces!
After church, Kami and I went to the gym to lift weights. I was going to run outside (it warmed up and melted off) but I didn't fee like it and wanted to hang out with my family.

| Woke up not feeling the best plus freezing fog and sore from lifting...went back to bed. Will try to run later today.
Came home to watch a sick daughter. I went out in the late afternoon when my wife got home from her work for a few miles. 5 miles with Moxie then 3 more with Justin. Left ankle tweaked, hammy not happy with anything faster than 7:30. Mountain to Fountain nearly 95% out of the picture. Nice day, ran in shorts in January in Idaho! Retiring the Fastwitch after this run...think it was the cause of the ankle tweak. (Fastwitch)

| 6am...spinning class with Kami, good workout just spinning out my legs (no hill climbs).
I went to my friend who is a PT and IronMan competitor. Good visit! I do have hamstring tendonitis caused by pelvic misalignment and also some hamstring weakness. We readjusted my SI joint, stretched and did some soft tissue work and laser treatment on the tendon. She showed my some good stretches and strength excercises to do to help with the alignment and will work on the weakness issue more after ensuring my SI is back right. I should have done this a while back if I would have known I had this issue.
2 miles after school with Katelyn in the neighborhood. Felt good and kept it really easy.
