| Stretched and foamed rolled this morning, hammy/glute were sore and head cold is holding on.
7.25 miles at lunch. Easy mile wu, then 5 miles at 7:30. 1.25 mile cooldown. Form is coming back, piriformis and hammy a bit sore but felt the best I have in my form in months. (Ride 3 2013)

| Cold, snowy, windy...just nasty out. Plus head cold won't let go, so I stretched and did rehab exercises this morning. Too cold and windy outside and my head feels like it is going to explode. taking the whole day off.

| Woke up early but decided to wait a bit to have the temps warm up and run in shorts. I took Justin to track practice so he could run with the boys (not interested in me running with them) so I ran 10.5 miles solo through the neighborhoods around the HS and out to Hitt Road and back...just meandering. One pit stop and just easy recovery pace. I need to start pushing pace soon...tired of seeing the slow pace on my watch. Great morning for a run. (Mirage 3)

Beautiful day at lunch for a run. 1 mile easy, then started to pick up the pace. As I was approaching the bridge on the greenbelt, I saw a couple of runners to use as rabbits to get into a workout...2x2 miles. First interval was pretty good and felt easy (6:50, 6:30). 1 mile recovery at 7:40 pace then second interval (6:31, 6:29) and felt controlled. Form held mostly good and the power into the ground was good, breathing was contolled. 0.5 mile cooldown and some hip flexibility drills. 6 miles in 42 miles. Good first workout in a while so I think I can selectively start addition workouts back into my schedule now. (Mirage Red)

| Too tired and got into a good discussion on faith with Kami this morning. Will run later today (when it is really warm out!).
Came home to help watch my daughter who was sick and ended up at the hospital with my wife in the ER because she was having trouble breathing and had chest pains. After a few hours and tests she was released...but it was scary. Kinda hit close to home as two of my coworkers have passed away in the past 5 days.
11 miles in the late afternoon while girls rested and my folks checked in on them. Just meandered through town in shorts and no shirt in the 60 degree weather! (Mirage Red)

| Got up late and went out for a run. I bumped into Lynette and ran some miles with her to the gym. On the way back, ran by the park and the Community Fitness run was taking place. The RD (a friend of mine) asked me to run and I thought why not give it a try. Most of my other runner friends were running the 10K and I was only up for the 5k to test my hamstring issue. I ran up front with Gray and Alan for the race and ended up winning the 5k in 17:56 and felt comfortable and not pushing my injury, but I don't think I could have run much faster on this pancake flat course based on my current fitness/racing.

| Slept in and went out a little later after sunrise. 6 miles solo in just under 45 minutes, mostly easy but a few pushing up the pace.
Went back out with my family from the park. I ran 0.5M with Kami and Katelyn then Justin and I took off down the trail after a rabbit. We ran some fast segments (5:30 or under for some long stretches)! Ran back into Katelyn and Kami and ran about 1 mile easy with them before charging back up the hill at sub 8:00 pace. 6 miles in just under 45 minutes! Good run (again). (Launch)
Now for pool time with family and friends (Hudman's!).

| 6:30am....met Craig at the city center park (SGM finish line) and drove up to Ledges Parkway. We ran down the trail back to the park, last part of the marathon course. Nice run in under an hour for 8.35 miles.
Got home and took the family out. Justin and I ran about 4.25 miles along the pathway from the park. (Launch 2)
Another relaxing day at the pool and playing at the sports complex.

Ran about 13 miles with Gray and others (Katie, Tim, Eric, etc.) on a big loop down Pancheri and Bellin then onto the canal bank then a river loop. Stopped for a mini break at the store then the rest home really slow as I was getting tired. About 8:00 AP with some faster stuff with Gray in the middle. (Launch 2)
