| | AM - 2.5 PV. Long walk with Twix then a short run. But... it was longer than I have gone in a month and a half. Just did laps around the school so I could stop when the hip started hurting. At first I was very timid and could feel the tightness and soreness, but I tried to relax and let myself run through it a little. Got up to nearly 20 mins without any pain - still the usual soreness, but no pain. Did some extra yoga poses that really help hit the hip and hopefully that keeps it loose (did them yesterday as well - maybe that helped contribute to being able to go a little more today). Will be able to hopefully go about the same tomorrow, but I won't push it further until I continue to see progress. Abs after. (Peg NOP 239)

| | AM - 1 Neighborhood. Long walk with Twix with the addition of a short run. Still so hesitant about running. Same usual soreness and tightness, but no searing pain. An athlete of mine has the exact same pains as me and he was diagnosed by a doc and xrays as having a fracture on his hip from the muscle tearing away from the bone. Self-diagnosis are usually not the way to go, but I am guessing that is what happened to me. I had 5 weeks off and am slowly working back. The doc told him 6 weeks off, so that would fit close to my timeline (I could probably use a few more weeks, and I will if I feel any real pain again, but until then I'll keep slowly putting a little in). Ended with weights and abs. (Peg green 479.5)

| | AM - 3.5 track. Long walk with Twix. Then practice a little earlier because a few kids have some things this afternoon. Did some abs why they warmed. Then ran some laps with Robs while they did the workout. Focusing on the kids let me not think about my own "fears" about my hip and just relax and run. Looked at the watch and I was at 3.5 and decided that was awesome and also that I should be done. No pain, even the tightness and soreness is disapating. (Ravenna 451.5)

| | AM - 1 Neighborhood. Long walk with Twix that we extended into a short run. Felt a little hesitant last night about running because I was a little more sore, but this morning everything felt fine. And I am starting to overcome some of the return from injury fear (a little). Some positive stuff this week. I'll see if I can go 20 or so minutes again tomorrow. Weights and then abs. (Levitate 284)

| | AM - 3.5 AC. Long walk with Twix and then the first run back with the team in almost 7 weeks! The only other time when I've had to take that long of a time off was my stress fracture 15+ years ago. I was back to running sooner than this after my stroke. But, it was great to back with the guys. Still very nervous on pretty much every single step. But there isn't pain, so I should keep confident. (Peg NOP 242.5)

| | AM - 2 Neighborhood. Short walk with Twix and then finished up the week with a couple more miles. Should be pretty happy that things improved so much this week. Will continue to add a little more miles through next week if all still feels well. (Peg blue34 194)
