800 splits: 2:31, 2:18, 2:23, 2:20, 2:22

Hill splits: 1:30, 1:25

2 mile warm up and cool down. My stomach was feeling pretty weird last night but it didn't affect me at all on the workout today which was good. I was happy with my effort and especially glad I forced myself up front on the hills so I wouldn't fall off.

Mile repeats: 4:50, 4:54

1k repeats: 3:08 (I accidentally went a little far on this rep), 2:53, 2:54.

Today was a little frustrating. Honestly my legs felt great and fast! But my breathing wasn't good. I just felt like I ran out of breath really quickly and it was really hard for me to stay locked in because of it. I tried focusing on my arms to shift my attention away from my lungs.

7:16 pace. 174 avg hr. I was pretty tired from yesterday and didn't get as much sleep as I should have last night. I want to do a better job of getting good sleep and recovery in. I also want to improve my mental game. I wonder if me worrying about getting through a workoout actually shortens my breath more and makes it harder. I feel like I have greatness within me, I just need to figure out how to find it and use it more during workouts and races!
