6 miles at 9:30 pm. I felt like pushing it during this run. I have been taking it easy for the last while, and decided that I need to start training a little faster. I started out holding back a little so I could warm up, then after the first mile I started to push myself. I was going to try and push it for 3 miles, then cool down for 3, but decided midrun to push fast for 4 miles (counting the fastish warmup mile) then slow down for the last 2 miles. Overall it went well, and could be one of my quickest pace's for a training run. Max HR 178 Avg HR 163 1 |

10 miles at 5:52 pm. It was 85 degrees, and sunny. I wore a long tech and short shorts. It was warm, I wouldn't want to go if it were much hotter than this. This run went well, I am trying to train around 7:30's, and I was able to do that today. Something about the heat makes me go a lot quicker. I had to stop at 6.29 miles for a #2 break, I planned my run so I passed a park about every 2-3 miles. Other than the bathroom break I was pleased with this run. I started to get a little tired around mile 8ish, I am hoping that it was because of the heat. Avg HR 164 Max HR 177 1 | 7:12.1 |

14 miles at 6:30 am. My goal was to average 7:30's for this medium run for the week. The temperature was about 55 degrees, and there was a slight wind, it felt really good outside. I started out a little slow to warm up, then just tried to get my average to 7:30, and I did it. After my run when I was getting ready to cool down, I saw a plane flying really low. It was doing a loop and was going almost right over our apartment. I thought Mackson would love it, so instead of cooling down I sprinted to go get him so we could watch the plane for a bit. It was fun 1 |

10 miles at 8:30 am. About .25 miles into the run I realized that during yesterdays run my armpits got rubbed raw. So I took my shirt off at 1 mile and laid it on the grass. Then for 8 miles I was thinking about whether my shirt was going to still be there or not, luckily it was. I ran 10 miles and wanted to do 3 consecutive miles (miles 7-9) at marathon pace. The run went well, I felt good the whole time, even when I was going at MP. I felt like I could have gone faster every mile, but this is training, not daily racing. Max HR 169 Avg HR 152 1 | 7:42.2 |

8 super easy miles. I just felt like taking an easy run. I didn't look at my watch, which was almost as hard as trying to run so slow. I am hoping this run will help my legs be able to run well on my long run tomorrow. Max HR 144 Avg HR 132

17 miles at 5:45 am. I started this run with the intentions of averaging around 7:30's. I did a slower mile to start, at about 8 minutes, then I started to just run and not think about running. I just wanted to feel comfortable. By mile 6 I was feeling really good. My pace had picked up to less than 7:30's, and I didn't feel like I was pushing myself at all, I still felt comfortable and relaxed. By mile 12 I noticed that my feet felt like they were landing perfectly, and my arms felt like I wasn't holding them to high (I feel like I have been holding them high for a while). Mile 12 was 7:01, and I didn't feel like I was forcing myself to run that fast, it was just a comfortable pace. The next 5 miles felt really good and the slowest mile was 7:07. Mile 16 was 6:48, and again I wasn't pushing myself to hit that, I was just running relaxed.
Overall this was probably the best long run I have ever had. I felt good and relaxed and I was very pleased with my pace. I think this week of running has been the best I have had in the 4 years I have been running. Avg HR 149
