First run in almost 3 weeks, I felt a little rusty and stiff, but it felt good to be running again. My foot felt good for the most part. Sometimes when I would run against traffic it felt a little uncomfortable, but not too bad. I did switch sides when I felt discomfort. My HR monitor was acting dumb, .1 miles after I started it said my HR was 185. I have never seen it at 185.It says my Max was 203 (and I would have died), and the average was 160. Obviously those numbers cant be trusted. After about 7 minutes it started to read correctly around 140 BPM.

8 miles at 7:30 at night. I was trying to go slower than I actually was, but couldn't slow down. I felt like I was laboring the whole the time, which wasn't a good feeling. I had to stop at mile 7.15 and knock on three doors until somebody let me use their toilet. I am so grateful that someone let a sweaty stranger in their house to poop in their toilet. Avg HR 164 Max HR 174 HR was a little higher than normal, and it has been high all day but I have no idea why. Avg mile was 7:35

10.2 miles, I started a little after 9:00 pm. I was a little nervous about running at night again because of what happened yesterday, but luckily no gastro issues tonight. About 10 seconds into my run my lower back felt a little sore, but it went away within half a mile. My legs are incredibly sore, they feel more sore than after racing a half marathon, so I think I am going to swim tomorrow morning instead of running to try and give my legs a chance to recover. Maybe I will feel great in the morning and be ready to run. Other than being sore, this run went well. 9.8 miles at 12:15 pm. It was about 73-75 degrees, and way too hot. This was probably the worst run I have ever had. I kept thinking that I just wanted to take a shortcut and head straight home rather than finishing all 9.8 planned miles. Again my back was hurting, my legs are super sore, and it was hot. I really need to start going to bed earlier so I can get up and run in the mornings. For some reason my HR has been through the roof lately, maybe it has to do with the time of day I have been going running.

| | 7 miles on treadmill at 3:00 pm. I haven't felt good the last few runs, and didn't want to go in the heat of the day, so I went to the gym. I couldn't run this morning because I had to wake up at 5 and finish a paper, then I didn't get done with school until 2:45, and had to be somewhere from 4;45 to 9;00. This was probably the best run of the week so far. I didn't feel overly tired (besides the normal treadmill sluggish feeling), and I averaged 7:46 minute miles, which is pretty good for me on a treadmill. 12 miles at 6:30 am. I took about an hour to get out the door because I woke up with a way dry mouth and I was very sore. So I drank some diluted Gatorade to help with the dry mouth. This was a good run, I didnt feel like I was going too hard, but for some reason my quads have just been sore and painful all week. My back didn't hurt today, which was the first time all week. 1
