That hill in Hell's Hole was ridiculous.  Other than that, it was good.

This run took forever...we kept a pretty consistent pace throughout the dirt part; slow but as consistent as we could without a watch.

Alyssa Shurtz and I went to Target and back.  We decided that we will have to bring money and stop at a restaurant during a run...and then waddle back.:)

The grass run was so much nicer because we did the loop first.  The striders went by quickly, and there were clouds in the sky! How nice.

We accidentally took a wrong turn at the park, so we went a little bit too far.  It was a wonderful run, and the trail was gorgeous.  We went a little faster this time (I like to think so, anyway) since it was mostly level.   The other 4 miles are the Kanarraville hike.

I went the 4 miles, then went on a 5 mile hike in red cliffs, then went boating.  I am not going to be able to move tomorrow.

Life Lesson:  NEVER run in 111 degree heat after fasting all day.  I was just so weak and tired when I started, it just got worse.  At least it is over though.  Weight lifting helped to push me and congrats to Hunter Kimzey, the newest record holder for planks at 5 minutes.

This morning was okay and I enjoyed the new route, but that hill was awful.  Once we got over that it was ok.

This run was the hardest on the dirt mile so far.  I was really dizzy and didn't feel well. Hopefully tomorrow will be better.

I feel so terribly bad about not running yesterday or Wednesday, but I ran today up on Cedar Mountain during Girl's Camp, and it was gorgeous.  The altitude made it way hard ( I am sure that it didn't have anything to do with the quality of food I have eaten over the last couple of days) but Susan and I were able to bond and love it!  So very fun!

Such a bummer to die thinking at least you ran six, and then you find out that you didn't.:(  This morning was better than expected.  I was thinking nausea big time but I was only tired.  I ran with Mariah and we came in only about 5 minutes behind the varsity, which is pretty good for me.

This afternoon was so nice.  Even with the humidity, I thoroughly enjoyed myself.  We stopped at Arctic Circle and the side of my shin was burning really bad.  We went a bit slower on the way back because my leg was getting worse.  It stopped hurting during weights and then I went to run to my car and couldn't because of my leg.  Josh helped me stretch it, and lots of ice followed.

My legs were so tired.  Even though this was only 4, keeping up a consistent pace was hard. The burning in my calves wasn't as bad, though they were way tender afterwards.

Today was interesting.  The hill was hard, but not to the point that I was dead.  I guess I need to work harder.  I haven't had any completely abnormal pain in my leg today, so that is good.

This afternoon was ridiculously warm.  I held an okay pace, and was able to run it in about 29 minutes. I was able to keep myself motivated by thinking about AC and the loveliness that it holds.

This morning with only 3 on the grass was nice, and for once the striders felt good.

I wasn't able to make the afternoon team practice because I was babysitting, so I was able to go when it started sprinkling around 6:30.  My legs were really tired, so I took it slow and just enjoyed it.

Very first Meat Grinder.  It apparently wasn't the hardest way we could have done it, but I died anyway.  The hardest part was the last two laps of the park.  The grass was so deep and long, and it just seemed to take forever.  My brother sometimes says that it "takes all I have to stay up with them."  Today was one of those days.

Today was my very first Formaster run.  I made it up in 3:02.  The run itself was really nice, the weather being nice and cloudy.  I enjoyed being able to think and relax.

This morning was awful.  I was sick the whole way, except for the mile and a half with tempo.  That was a good ending.  This afternoon was great, except that I couldn't stay and do weights because I had a Trilogy dress fitting and then teaching piano afterwards.

I ran the Temple Quarry trail this morning with Josh.  I forgot my running shoes, so I was reduced to wearing my Vans sneakers.  I turfed it pretty hard around 1 1/2 miles in, so the right part of my body is pretty sore and tender.  It was sort of funny because when I fell, I sort of made this little cry of pain (okay, a big cry of pain) and lo and behold, this handsome young stud with curly blond hair dressed in a Tech shirt with a weird looking Superman logo came to my rescue.   Thankfully, I was able to finish the four miles.  I went at a pretty good pace, and made it back from the saddle in about 15:10.   We did the striders at the park across the street from the trailhead.
