Did mile repeats at the park with Steve and Bill. I warmed 2 miles before Steve and Bill got there, then I did another 2 with them. After a good warm-up we started the workout.

1-5:29 Quite a bit faster than the first one two weeks ago. This had me a little worried.

2-5:18 I felt like I started this one fairly slow, but must have really picked it up on the second half.

3-5:23- This one hurt the most of the four we did.

4-5:24- Happy to finish this one.

1.5 mile cool down

Overall, good workout. I found it interesting that I would run the first half relaxed and slower, then really pick it up on the second half. Anyway, I was still pleased with the times considering we started the workout a little faster than we were probably planning, it felt good to be able to hang on and finish the workout with times that were pretty consistent.

Steve ran real strong. Bill had some calf issues after the first one, so he jogged around after that and got in some more easy miles. It was a nice, warm afternoon and quite a few people at the park, including two kids that were punks and were yelling at Steve and I the whole time, usually I just block out the negative comments and the "fat" "lazy" "unmotivated" people that like to make fun of runners. However, I really was getting upset at these younger kids today. Besides that everything was pretty enjoyable, well as enjoyable as mile repeats can be!
