| Most years I would be running the St. George Marathon on the first Saturday in October, but not this year. I'm a bit sad that I didn't get myself into shape to run it, but there will have to be other years. This year has had a lot of ups and downs, and right now I'm having to devote more of my time and energy to other things.
Anyway, this morning I was able to get out and run 6 miles, actually felt pretty good on the run, but later in the day started feeling some stiffness in the legs.

| This was a good run today, legs felt better. I ran down to Pah Tempe and then up the canyon to Sugar Loaf and turned back. The river was running pretty high due to lots of rain the last two days.

Really good tempo workout on the treadmill. I loaded my Toquerville route and hit the following splits.
6:55, 13:41, 20:17, 26:47, 33:08 (6:37 avg)
Here is the comparison to the last time I did this workout
7:04, 13:43, 20:25, 27:04, 33:21 (6:40 avg)
I have come to realize that on the treadmill you can only got up to 6:00 min pace if you have the setting on a decline, so next time I'm going to do just a flat route.
Also did 1 mile warm-up, cool-down

| Sandhollow Senior Games. Ran with Bill and Scott out around the lake, quite a bit of stopping and some walking. After the run went to Jarren's soccer game, he scored a goal which was fun.
