Easy 3 mile workout this morning. Tonight I had a great workout. I had Sunny drive me out to Anderson Junction and I ran home through Toquerville. I have done this route before and it is nice because it has the miles marked pretty good. When I was first getting back into shape I would just run from mile marker 5 to my house which was right at 6.2 miles. The last few times she has dropped me off at mile marker 6 which is right under the freeway. The run from there to my house then is 7.2 miles. Anyway tonight's workout was really encouraging. The thing I enjoy most about running is being able to compete against yourself. I have always been pretty good at keep track of workouts and keeping a running journal, but I have really enjoyed this training blog Sasha has put together, because I seem to reflect more and write more about each workout. Just like tonight it has been encouraging to be able to go back and compare a similiar workout done on January 12th on the same route.

I really feel like I am getting stronger and my body can now sustain more intense running for longer periods of time.

Dustin, glad to see your still running after smoking me in the half.
