Took a nice long progressive outside run with jtshad today.  The temperature was in the high 20's with little wind and a light cloud cover.  We planned to run at around 8:30 for 5 miles, then up to 8:15 for 5 and the last 5 at an 8 minute pace.  Jt was very good about letting me set the pace and we were a little faster for the entire run, finishing with an average speed of just under 8 minute miles.  This is my longest run so far and the first time for drinking water and eating GU.  That really seemed to help as I felt pretty decent at the end.  However, as I write this my legs are feeling the distance a bit.  Overall an excellent run.   Thanks  Jeff!

My pleasure, it was great running with company. You did great and are on your way to a strong Ogden marathon finish. Keep up the strong running.
