Stay healthy this year. Coming off of a bad shin splint which took about 3-4 months to fully recover.
Build back up to 60+ miles a week Long-Term Running Goals: Finish a marathon sub 3:00:00 Personal: A CPT in the US Army stationed at Fort Benning, GA. Longer run today. My left knee was really hurting. It started right about mile 3 and I was pretty much straight legged running the rest of the way in. My IT band was acting up. Hopefully it was just the cold weather. I may take off the rest of the week to make sure it feels alright.

| | A nice easy run today. My knee was hurting from last weeks run, so today I didn't want to push it too far. After the run we did a 50-40-30-20-10 pyramid of push-ups and the ab 300 workout. |

Felt good again today. I think my little knee problem may be gone. It may have been weather related, only to the extent that it has been pretty cold here and I wonder if I hadn't warmed up enough to stretch it out. I won't try for any crazy distances, but I think I can start picking it up a little bit.

Shortened the run today. Don't want to jump in too quickly with the high mileage. Tomorrow or Friday I will try for a 5-6 mile run and see how I feel.

Had a nice longer run today. My IT band was starting to bug me a bit, not sure how much of it was the distance or it being so cold. I am sure it was a mixture of both. Average pace was pretty slow, but we had some good hills.
