Hour of pool running. 2,3,4,5,6,5,4,3,2 (min off). Foot has been feeling great now for 4 days. No pain while walking.
PM: Did 2 miles of slow running in the grass at Logan High. The goal was 2 miles or the first sign of pain/issues with the foot. No problems whatsoever!!! It sure felt good to get out running. Now to watch it closely to see if it gets any worse off. If no ill-effects, 2 miles tomorrow.

Hour of Pool Running 6,5,4,3,2,2,3,4,5,6 (min easy in-between). Foot feels a bit achy, but still ok. Will watch it today and decide on another jog later.
30 min biking then went home and joined Beth and the kids for their run. I pushed the stroller. Felt pretty good and enjoyed it. First mile in 10:05 then second in 9:33. Beth did great for how little sleep we got last night (upset kid-teething?). My foot was still not 100% this morning but about the same as yesterday. Not sure what to do about it. It feels fine while wearing shoes, but barefoot I can feel some tightness/pulling. Obviously, no plans to step it up yet....
PM: Joined my neighbor who is just starting out running (he is a biker) for an easy 3.5. We went to the end of the planet walk and back. It felt good. Iced my foot in the stream by my house after. No issues tonight with it. No running tomorrow just to be sure. Only pool running.
Ran the Wasatch Back Relay Prologue this morning. It took place on a nice flat course with a good portion of it along the Logan River. I took it easy, but felt pretty good.

I really enjoyed my experience as a driver/slave-driver. I had a lot of fun with the guys. I was glad to get to re-unite with old friends and to get to know the others. I was with Bill Campbell, Steve Olsen, Kory Wheatley, Stephen (Steve) Cuttitta, James Moore, and Andrew McClellan. They ran their guts out and really impressed me. Thanks for the opportunity guys!
