Full marathon Training run with the Circle and Stephen. Plus Haydo joined for the first 20 miles too. Met up at Logan's house in Ivins at 5 a.m. Then drove up through Gunlock and Veyo out to 26.2 miles. It was nice up where we started at 59F. The first 8-10 miles were VERY slow and EZ at what we will call LOL pace. Lots of smart, well thought out, wise and useful adult conversation going on. A few times one or more of us were laughing so hard we were almost on the ground. We had GU and drinks at mile 8 but still never picked up the pace. From like 12-16 we got a little faster but still very gabby. Had another GU and water stop at mile 16. From there in pace got a little more formal. But never into full on hammer mode. Fastest mile for me of the day was mile 23@ 5:43 pace. I wanted to just get in the downhill. But from the Y' down to Ivins I did want to run better than I did last week. Held a decent pace to Ivins park or basically mile 25. Then the Circle went over to the splash pad and got soaked in water. From there back to Log's house I just tried to semi cool down and relax. Felt good at the end. Not dead at all. Not really sore either. Much, much, much better run than last week on a similar route. The downhill legs are coming around... but there's lots of work to do.

2:48.46 total time or a 6:26 avg for the run

Another 100+ mile week. You're consistently killing it. I'm willing to bet it's going to pay dividends.
