| | DC loop with Logan. 60 F at 5:15 but the wind was howling. And I sure hate wind. It ruins everything.
5 miles on the treadmill this afternoon while the boys napped... and wrestled.

| | Longish run. Just trying to get something going again on the running side of life. Hip has been a little better the last 3 days or so. Instead of a 9.4 out of 10 on the pain scale it's more around 6.8.Still not good and a pain to deal with daily. But I'll go try and hit mileage at 6.8... where as 9.4 it just sucks the life out of me. Today seemed so so. Took a long time to get going and then I never could hit a fast gear. 6:42 avg for the run.

| | 6:42 avg for the run. Hip is letting me get in some miles but I really cant go any faster than 6:15 pace give or take. Tight hammy and inner thigh. Need to spend some time working on it with the ball and foam roller.... maybe a stick of dynamite.
7 miles tonight. 6:40 avg. Seemed a little better than this morning. Maybe a 6 out of 10 on the hip/hammy pain scale.

| | Hammy and hip were both pretty bad this morning (gun to head emoji). 7:25 avg just trying to push on through it. Will have to spend some time today in my home er trying to put things back together. Ball, Foam roller, hip routien, and electro stem. I miss just being able to run for fun and enjoyment. :(:(:(
5.3 miles this evening.

| | Went with Mike, Dustin and Scott up to the top of Snow Canyon and then ran back down the course into town. Those guys went back on Sunset to Mike's and I took it out around Ivins then back. Didn't want to get up early today... and there was a nice breakfast waiting at Mike's. Thanks Colleen! The run portion of the moring sucked. BAD. Hip and hammy both were around a 9 or more out of 10 on the pain scale. I thought today was gonna be different... Idk. I guess doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results is... insanity. Maybe I'm insane. Or at least mentally ill right now.

| | Pushed Halen in the jogger and Myler biked along with. It was 86F and pretty warm. So we stopped 3 times to make sure Myler didn't overheat and dehydrate. But other than that he did great. I couldn't have ridden 8 miles when I was 5 years old. Hip hurts a little but my left hammy is crazy bad. worst it's ever been... and that's saying something. fml

| | Did my Birthday run today. This year I turned 35... so I had to run 35 miles. Met Logan, Steve, and Marlk at the DC at midnight. Started running around 12:10 a.m. We did 2 DC/ Stonecliff loops @ 12.6 miles. And then one DC loop at 10 miles. It ended up being about .25 long so we stopped running right at 35 miles and walked back in. Steve and Mark did the first loop with us and then headed out. So it left Logan and I for the remaining 22.5 or so miles. It seemed like the first loop really drug... but the second loop went by really fast and the third was shorter anyways so it wasn't too bad. Had perfect conditions under a bright big moon. 55-60 F and no wind. Just great for a long run in the middle of the night. We ended up with a running time of 4:10:46 and a 7:10 min mile avg. Not too shabby. Legs felt pretty good too... hips and hammy werent that bad. Hammy had some sharp pain durning the second loop but I put a heat patch on for the third and it didn't really bother me again. Over all I felt pretty good. Feet took the brunt of it as I think I got a couple blisters on my toes. Other than that and being sleepy... things went about as good as it can. 35 is the new 20 right? Big Thanks to the guys for coming. And Logan for pushing the whole thing out with me.

30 min's on the ellptical
semi hard effort. tested the hip and hammy on the treadmill and they both kind of hurt so I got off after only 2 miles. Still feeling tired and haven't got caught up on sleep.

| | Nice morning for a run. Hip and hammy both were around a 5/10 on the pain scale. Which is doable and I'd take it everytime if I could. Just ran. No plans. No goals. Somehow it ended up being an even half marathon in 1:29:50. Like a 6:43 avg or something I think.

| | 51.4 mile ride this monning. The forecast was that it was gonna be windy today... well for once the weatherman was right. Damn. It seemed to eat me alive. Every direction was a headwind. Out by Sandhollow it was gail force. 15 mph on flat.... anyways it was a good workout. Glad it's behind me. 19.7 mph avg for the ride.

| | 140 min's on the ellitical. It was a long haul for me. Toes hurt by the end. Watched the new Red Dawn and started re watching Prison Break. I'm too lazy to go back and look but this is close to a PR in time on the elliptical in one setting. Glad to have it done.

| | 60.4 mile ride this morning. Solo effort. Had bad wind for the first 20 miles and wanted to be done. When I got out to Sandhollow I was only at a 17.9 mph avg. And had been working like a dawg. Spent the next 40 miles trying to get on the upside. Ended right at 20.0 mph avg for the ride.

| | Met Logan at 3 a.m over at his house. Did a loop. Half in pretty stiff wind and the other half in some good rain. Gotta love spring. Felt crappy enough to just be done and not extend it out to 20.

| | Prolly the best run post PHX marathon. It only took about 2 months.... but I actually felt like a runner again. Pain was there but maybe only like a 3/10. Ran a fairly hilly loop. Kept trying to just relax and run smooth. Ended up hitting a 6:36 avg for the run. With the effort feeling less. I know it's not going to be like this forever. But I really really really needed to just go run... and feel good.

| | DC loop with LV extended. Not as sharp as I felt yesterday but not horrible. 5/10 on pain. Wanted to get up and do a long bike ride. But I slept horrible. It was windy and I didn't want to deal with it. And overall I just wasn't in the mood. Wasn't going to do anything... but finally did the run.
