Alarm set for 3:30... but I have this sick and twisted thing in my life that makes me wake up one hour before any alarm. So at 2:30 a.m I got up went to the restroom and was... up. FML

Long run down the marathon course. Second longish run down it in 5 days. I kind of wanted to do a 4 mile, 8 mile, 4 mile tempo workout today. But after only about 3 miles I decided to bag it and just go a little longer. Just wasn't feeling it today. At all. Had some mexican food last night. Large combo plate... made for 5+ star morning. Got to clean up the diet next week for sure.

Anyways Aaron and Steve basically took off right out of the car. I thought even if I do run hard today I'll warm up first. But after 8.9 miles and our water bottle stop I wasn't into it. So Logan headed out to get a progression run in and I just made my way down the course. Fastest mile of the day was 5:56. Once I got to Bluff St. I was basically at mile 17 and I took a left up over Red Hills PKWY and followed the Ironman course to it's turn around. Then I dropped down around Dixie St and back up around the park to extend it to 23.25 miles for the run. Hit a 6:30 avg today. Nothing fast... but kept it honest and got some good miles on the legs to finish off a solid week since the half last Saturday.

146 lbs after. Wish it would have at least gave me one more pound off... Feeling too heavy heading into the weekend.

Good run today. You will rock it at the marathon. Don't pack it in at Cafe Rio today!
