4.4 mile warmup to Stucki

4.7 mile tempo

5.8 mile cooldown

Tried to hit a good tempo this morning... It had rained through the night which was awesome but it made it crazy humid and muggy. On the warm up I was dripping wet. But was still positive I could pull of something in the tempo.

5:39, 5:25, 5:22, 5:40, 5:40 for the .7

So I started off pretty smooth but then felt the legs kind of want to go. I let them. Logan was close through 2 miles but at 3 I couldn't hear him anymore. Then when I got to the U turn onto the trail I looked back and saw no one... I knew something was up. But thought I'd keep rolling since I was feeling ok. Got through mile 4 and felt pretty good on the trail. Then went past the power plant and in the lights couldn't see the guys at all. Once I got to the main road below Costco I was worried and stopped. Waited for a second then turned around to go see what was up. Logan came shortly and said he decided to shut it down. It was crazy muggy... like HELLAMUGGY. And none of us were recovered or ready for tempo after our marathon on Saturday. Dave came a little later and he was done tempoing too. So from there on back we just ran and pulled the plug on doing more "tempo". Overall I did feel pretty good. Could have kept it rolling for another couple for sure. But sometimes you just feel like enough is enough. #learntoliveanotherday

7 more miles this evening. Temps were doable with cloudy skis and a breeze. Just took it pretty EZ.

144 lbs this moring and 145 lbs tonight.
