A good run today on the way to Lake Powell. I got dropped out a couple miles above a town called Ticabo on the way to Bullfrog marina and then ran from there to the boat ramp. It was good downhill for about 2.5 miles at the start and 2.5 miles at the end but most of the rest was a good hill climb. I wasn't really planning on doing tempo pace but just fell into it and kind of got in the zone and ran the whole run at 6:15 pace with all the uphill. I was pretty proud of myself after because after driving it back it looked tough. Anyways I felt great this morning and it was one of the best runs for me this year in one of my favorite places. The fishing today was rotten... I only caught one and nobody else caught one. (White Cumulus 270.8) |
