7.3 mile morning run. Ran down to PVHS and talked with my wife and then went around the dog pound and up through Washington to the fire house and on home. The soreness wasn't really and issue this morning but there is no flow right now- normal for a race week. I aways feel pretty crappy until the day of the race and then about 80% of the time I end up feeling good.

8.6 mile run this afternoon with the running club. We went up to the start of the 10k course and ran it back down into Ivins to see all the changes they have made since last year. Then we made our way back over to Mike's house. I got caught along the way needing a porta potty and had to leave the guys. Then I found Kendra and jumped in the van to go back to the store. Anyways pretty good run and the legs are feeling much better today than earlier this week.

Clyde, I would ease off a bit to stay fresh for Saturday's race. Maybe just run once today and tomorrow. Your fitness will take over on Saturday and you'll have that race magic in your legs. This is just my suggestion, but you know what's best for yourself. Your going to excel in the race and do great.

Thanks guys,

Kory I will still run twice a day but just in smaller amounts. I like how it keeps me feeling lean. When I run once a day and take the next 23 hrs off by the time I run again I feel bloated and fat.

Clyde, Great run tonight! Hope your stop worked out! I am looking for a fast time from you on sat, not to add pressure. I don't think it's an easy course, but I think your training will pay off big time!
