Got called out at 2:30 am.  Couldn't go back to sleep, so I put in my run a 3:55 am.

Department physical fitness test today.  As always, I kicked butt.  Lapped everyone there, most twice, some three times.

Ran 8:44 for the mile and a half.  Not bad for a 70 mph head wind.

5 miles. Weights, push and sit ups, heavy bag.

I'm excited for everyone running the St. George marathon tomorrow.  I can't express how much I wish I was there as well.

Not drawing out on the lottery this year has really bumbed me out.  I don't know if I'll ever run as many miles per week or train as hard as I did this year again.  To not be able to test myself on a PR marathon, when I trained so hard really upsets me.

I know those who actually got into St. George don't really care, but I feel like I missed an oppertunity this year.  I don't think I'm going to run as hard as I did this year.  It took a lot out of me.

I almost considered running bantom, just prove to myself it was going to be a PR.

Anyway, I'd like to  horse whip a St. George marathon official or two, but I guess thats water under the bridge.

I'll be ok.  I'm just venting.

Good luck everyone tomorrow.  Enjoy the race.

I tried to imagine myself running the St. George Marathon this morning on my five mile run.  Although fun, it didn't feel like the real thing.

Man, I hope I get in next year.
