A good run this morning. I always dread the speed days. Warmed up with 3 miles and then did 1 mile repeats with a slow mile in between. Mile 1 @ 5:48 Mile 2 @ 5:33 Mile 3 @ 5:30 Mile 4 @ 5:30 Decided to do a two mile tempo with the first being fairly slow to see if I could finish with a new fast mile for the year. Mile 5 @ 6:28 Mile 6 @ 5:03 Knocked 14 seconds off my fastest mile for the year. A pretty good workout. |
