| Member Since: May 24, 2015 Gender: Male Goal Type: Other Running Accomplishments: Pre-highschool: I loved to run and ran a few small local 5k's, but I did not run much on my own, besides junior high track.
Freshman year: I ran cross country and traied wih the team most of the summer. When the season started I ran 3 races including Murray Invitational. I got a huge PR there but after the race my foot hurt and I had a hard time walking. I ran on it for the next week but it was not getting better, so I went to a Sports MD and found out that i had a stress fracture. Becaue of that injury I missed the rest of the season. Then I ran track for my junior high but did not do extremely well.
Sophmore year: I trained hard over the summer and I got a 3 minute PR on my first race. I continued to PR, and had a good, injury free season. I ran indoor track an had some good PRs. I ran at simplot and had a great time. I did track and ran some goodtimes and cut my time down by 15 seconds, I was hoping that I could get low 5's in the mile, but I had fun and was able to race at the steepechase and have a fun time through out the season. At sophmore region I was able to PR in the 800 and I missed my PR in the mile by 2 seconds.
Junior year: I ran a little over 500 miles over the summer, but wasn't improving how I would have liked over the season. I was not consistant at all and was sick for aboout 3 races. I finally had a good race at region and dropped a 46 second pr. Track went well, I went sub-5 in the mile finally and got a PR in the 2 mile pretty easily. I didn't really hit the times I had hoped for throughout the season due to sickness and I just wasn't in it.
PRs:
800: 2:11
1600: 4:56.35
3200: 11:17.47
3 mile: 17:41
5k: 18:07 Short-Term Running Goals: Cross Country 2016:
Run 650 to 700 summer miles SUCCESS
Low 15's on the 5K and Sub 15 3 mile
Place at region and state
Go to footlocker nationals
Track 2017:
Sub 4:20 mile
Sub 9:15 on the 3200
Sub 2:00 on the 800
Sub 6:25 on steeple chase
Qualify for State, Arcadia, and Great South West, and become the best runner I can be. Long-Term Running Goals: Run cross country and track in college. Keep improving and just having fun. I'll probably run an ultra or two for the heck of it and to see if I like them. Personal: I'm a Senior at Weber High School. I am LDS and plan on serving a mission before college. I'm a member of The Hobbyjogger Project. Favorite Blogs: |

| | Woke up this morning and did 3 miles before Cross Country camp. After we got up to Bear Lake for camp we unpacked and went on a run. Jake and Talon did 10, Addison did 9 and Henry, Me, Gavin, Will, Kyler, Mckenna, and some others did 8. It was one of the hardest long runs this summer and my average pace was really slow. Im hoping that is because of the heat, my watch said it was 92 degrees. Will ended up getting pretty cut up becasue as he was running back he was hit by a hay bale that was hanging off of a truck, which knocked him to the ground pretty hard, but he is ok so that is good.

| | Did a little .25 mile sprint on the beach this morning in our relay race and then enjoyed eating 6 marshmallows as fast as I could... Yuck! My team lost but it was fun anyways. When I got home I did 4 miles on the canal road but my blister was killing me! It got way bigger because of the long run in the heat yesterday, but what can you do right, you just keep going haha. Later tonight I did 3 miles barefoot around the park with Jake and McKenna and averaged a pretty good pace.

| | Ran over to weber for team practice this morning. We did 3 X 800's, I needed to be hitting 3:05's but I knew I could go faster. My splits were 2:50 for the first one, 2:47 for the second one, and 2:45 for the third one! We did a cooldown to Bates after. Later tonight I did a 3 mile run with Addison up in Paris mostly around the school and Tabernacle but throuch some neighborhoods and backroads also.

| | 3 miles this morning around Paris again, after Me and Addison did 4 X 30 second sprints on the street in front of the house. Later tonight we did an awesome 4 mile run down to the bird refuge. We stopped on the way there to look and some goats, which lead us to some pigs we chilled with them for a few minutes and then at some conviently placed porta-potties on the outskirts of town. On our way back we ran through the rodeo grounds and stopped at the pigs again, then found some poor dogs locked up in a cage.

| | 3 miles today when I got home from Bear Lake, I saw Henry running up 500 W so I chased him and eventually caught up after about a mile. We ran together for about a half mile before stopping to talk and eat blackberries and grapes. then I turned around and he kept going haha. I probally looked pretty crazy running back because my hands and face were covered and dripping with blackberry juice while I was running. Later tonight I was going to do 4 miles but I got invited to a Real Monarchs game where we got really great seats and dinner, and I couldn't pass that offer up.
