Married, we have one daughter so far. I ran for Alta high school and was trained by Rob Murphy, he is a great coach, one of the best there is. I also ran for Southern Utah University.

Nice run on the cross country course. Foot felt a little odd towards the end, I think I need new insoles.

Also first time I've reached 500 miles in a year since 2017... back when I was on the SUU track/xc team. That's kind of sad. 2018 was apparently just 430 but I may have missed entries for a while when I was still on the team, 2019 was 260 (somehow), 2020 was 430.

Weird to think about how little I've run the past 3 years, I guess I've averaged 5-10 miles per week. Running volume is a large part of what makes a year a good one- so I need to get back on it. Even with my achilles injury there's no reason I shouldn't be able to do 15-20 miles a week and get around 1000 miles per year. 2021 should end at around 700-800 miles total, next year I want to get to 1000. Lots of big things coming next year.
