I walked 0.25 miles as a warm-up at the Capital High School track. Next, I ran 3 miles at a pace of 9:10, 9:10, and 9:40 min/mile. As I was running the first lap of the fourth mile, I pulled my left calf. The pain was rather abrupt, and occurred in only 1 step. I stopped to stretch out my left calf and then walked 1.75 miles, 5 miles total distance. (My left calf is sore after sitting down for 30 minutes). |
