| 8:15 a.m. Gobbler 5K St. George, Utah. Inaugural year with many more runners than anticipated. Out and back along the Virgin River Pathway. 22:28, 7:13 AP, 4th in M50-59. 27th OA Men, 31st overall field. Rick was 11th overall and 3rd in M20-29, which won him a Pumpkin Pie. We had a good time today. |

| 9:00 a.m. St. George Gold's Gym. About 40 minutes cycling, 10 miles. 11:30 a.m. Red Cliffs Desert Preserve trails. Chuckwalla, Beck Hill, and back via the Paradise Rim trail. Nice, clear, sunny day. Beautiful blue skies against the red cliffs! 5 miles with Rick. Easy running. Rocky in spots. |
