Personal:

Married for 44 years to a wonderful and supportive wife. She's run 2 marathons herself in our earlier years so that helps.  4 boys, all married, and 10 grandchildren.  2 sons are runners. I celebrated 39 years of running madness, insanity, or at least OCD, on August 23rd, 2021.

Ivins, UT. 10:00 a.m. 12 mile run. Snow Canyon trail to end of paved trail and back for 10 miles in 1:33. Then picked up Pickles at our place for 2 more miles, easy. 12 total in 1:55. Nice, nice day. Clear blue skies. Tons of cyclists out today.

9:00 a.m. Ivins, UT. 5 mile run up to and along the Toe Trail easy with Pickles in 49:25. Sunny with clear, blue skies. Beautiful view of the red cliffs. Temperature in the 40's, but felt much warmer. Tough to go back to the cold and snow.
