Personal:

Married for 44 years to a wonderful and supportive wife. She's run 2 marathons herself in our earlier years so that helps.  4 boys, all married, and 10 grandchildren.  2 sons are runners. I celebrated 39 years of running madness, insanity, or at least OCD, on August 23rd, 2021.

7:00 a.m. Trail run in Settlement Canyon with Tina and Rick. 9.15 miles. From Parking lot at reservoir and up left-hand fork past Camp Wapiti taking the left-hand fork trail up to Bear Trap pass and back down into upper Settlement Canyon well above the gate. Down the canyon road until Dark Trail and back up to the parking lot. Nice run. Amazingly only muddy in spots.

6:30 a.m. Ivins and St. George. 16 miles in 2:26:57 with Rick. East on Snow Canyon Parkway Trail, Halfway Wash Trail south to Dixie Drive and Santa Clara Path to Confluence. Virgin River Trail to Middleton Wash Trail up to near Gold's Gym. Not overly warm, but very muggy for SG. We were soaking wet when we finished. A nice run.
