| 10:00 a.m. Ivins, UT. 12 miles in 1:50:53, from our place and up Snow Canyon trail to end of asphalt trail and back home for 10 in 1:30:54, then 2 mile out and back to Center St. in downtown Ivins and back. Such nice temperatures, first run in short sleeves outside all year. 3:00 p.m. 2 miles hiking in Johnson Canyon, off of Snow Canyon up to the Arch. With Rick, Pickles, and Sharon. 5:00 p.m. 5 mile mountain bike ride with Rick up to and along the Toe Trail, Tuacahn Rd., Painted Hills and back home. A very, very nice day but I'm beat. Time to go out for some great Mexican food at Pancho's and Lefty's. |

| Tooele High School Track Team 5K "Fund" Run. 9:30 a.m. 21:17, 6:52 AP. 11th overall men, 13th total field. A bit on the cold side, but the rain/ snow held off. Felt decent, tweaked my right hammy a bit with about a mile to go, similar to the City Creek race on Thanksgiving. Not too bad, but hope it gets better before the 10K in Snow Canyon and Ivins next weekend. Tina ran 20:34 for 2nd place in the Women's overall. Not bad for 51 years of age! Winner ahead of her only by 7 seconds. Ray 3rd overall men in the 19 minute range and a PR. He's around 50 as well. Great job!! 196 participants. Ran back up to the truck at the starting line afterwards. Total of about 7 miles today. Looking forward to 75+ degrees next weekend in St. George. |
