Personal:

I am originally from Knoxville, TN and moved to SLC with Jake in 2010. I started racing in 2011 and had some great success before a major injury hit me in July 2012. I had athletic pubalgia surgery in May 2013...then again in Sept 2014 and am still trying to get back to my old self. Although running is my true passion, I love doing pretty much anything active outdoors - backcountry skiing, backpacking, biking, etc. 

I've been running for the Saucony Team since 2011. I enjoy representing the brand and really do believe they make the best shoes :)

I work as a Quality Engineer for BD Medical in Sandy.

AM - Found a trail near Bath, UK. I blame all the cow gates for the 10 minute pace. 

PM - Ran along the canal in Brecon, 6 miles.

AM - Hike to Pen Y Fan, 5 miles...it was cloudy/rainy so we didn't get any view at the top but saw lots of sheep!

PM - Run along the Mawddach Trail, 5 miles.

AM - Another 5 miles on the Mawddach Trail in Dolgellau. This was our favorite little town!

PM - POURING. We thought about waiting it out to climb some mountains in Snowdonia but then saw the forecast for 5+ inches in 3 days! So we decided to head to the coast. We stopped on our way at Coed Y Brenin and went for an umbrella hike to see some waterfalls.

AM - Ran along the coast of Conwy in northern Wales. Conwy is a super cool walled castle town.

AM - Ran on the Ridgeway Trail in Chiltern area of natural beauty. 

This was the breakfast we had every morning at the B&Bs...don't be fooled by the "black pudding" - it's fat, grains, and pigs blood! Grosssss. Jake thought it was healthy!

PM1 - Short run along Thames River in London. 

PM2 - Same run with Jake becuase we had some time to waste. Pretty boring day because we both had to work a lot!
