Our family is complete with 4 sweet girls. Now it's time for me to shed the weight and get back into running shape for good. I'm ready to work at it again in 2017!

Long-term running goals, Sub 3 hour marathon and 1:20 half marathon.

I'm married to my great husband Riley Cook. He helps me accomplish my running goals. We have 4 daughters Evelyn, Hannah, Nora, and Iris I'm also excited to be running for Utahrunning.com.

Ran this morning in South Weber. I averaged 8:31 pace but I also did 5x1minute pick ups in my run.

My first pick up started on a hill and the pace got down to 7:31, my next was 6:38, then 6:11, 6:09, 6:20.

Felt pretty good this morning.

This morning I had my sister in law watch the kids while I met up with Sariah and Katie to run a tempo run. It was a tempo run for me and an easier run for them. They were pushing kids. I did 1 mile warm up, 3 miles of tempo, then 1.5 miles of cool down. Sariah was helpful in getting me through. I didn't know how fast I should start out so Riley suggested 7:15. That was the goal I set for myself.

6:38, this mile was downhill but was the same effort as the earlier ones.

I'm pretty happy with this workout.

Pushed the kids today around South Weber. Averaged 9:15 pace. I was a little sore from yesterdays workout.

I woke up today with a head cold and felt crummy all day. By 5:30 I thought I was feeling well enough to go for a run, hoping going outside in the heat of the day will remind my body that it's summer and not winter. But I felt sluggish, tired, and I think I made my cold worse. My pace was 9:06
