Ran 14 miles on the trail. Linstead twice then ran from the 5 to the 1 and back. Felt good but again a little to fast for my long runs. Finished in 2:08:36 9:10 pace. Starting to think I should just do my long runs at marathon pace. Everyone says something different.

Ran 5 miles. Started at the house and ran out to woods and up Magothy bridge Rd. Was supposed to be an easy week with easy runs. Felt good. Miles splits were 9:13, 9:14, 8:56, 8:53, and 8:34. Finished in 44:26 Avg pace 8:53. Had some hard hills in this run also.

Ran Chesapeake Cross Country Race in the rain and mudd with my 11 year old daughter, her 11 year old best friend, and my 9 year old son. Started slower around a 9:20 pace (Colleen and I stayed with the girls because this was supposed to be an easy day for us) each mile they started to go a little faster. Around mile 2 my daughter took off.......winning first place in her age group. She finished in 28:06 an 8:56 pace. Her best freind was 50 seconds behind her, and my son was about 1 minute behind us! They did great. My son took 1st place in his age group also and was the youngest runner.

After the race I came home and did 3 more on the treadmill.

SO PROUD OF BOTH OF MY CHILDREN
