I started running this route several years ago so I thought it would be fun to look back at my times. Back in the summer of 2011, just before I started having my hip trouble and thought I was in the best shape of my life, I was running this in about 95 minutes. And well today I ran it in 77 minutes so I think I must be in decent shape now - yay!

yeah i'd say dropping 18 minutes from your best time would indicate some sort of increase in fitness :-)
