Wandered around the City Creek North Ridge this morning with Roo. I think the north ridge has some of the most amazing views in Salt Lake and I never see a soul up there besides some deerk, elk and a coyote! One side is totally desert and sage with views of the lake and Antelope and Stansbury Island and the other side is alpine with oak and pine and views of the Wasatch and Upper City Creek Canyon. At times you can't see any evidence of the city below and you have every sort of terrain imaginable in only a mile of ridge. So many places to explore!
