MRI was neither good nor bad. No stress fracture or major FAI-ness, but it did show a labral tear and confirmed the fact that I have old lady arthritic hips.

I really, really think the pain I have been having is coming from my SI joint dysfunction rather than the hip itself so I think we are going to keep trying to manipulate the crap out of it and do some injections to confirm that is it my SI joint and go from there.

Let's just say I am happy with the two months of fun I had this summer and each run I went on I was absolutely stoked because that was one more run that I never thought I would have! Here's to hoping something is going to pop in some joint somewhere soon and I will be back on my merry way :)

AND I couldn't have picked a BETTER day for Season 5 of Parks and Recreation to be released on Netflix!!!

I am so sorry Aimee. I can't begin to imagine how disappointing these latest setbacks must be. I wish you an easy and speedy recovery but it doesn't sound like it will ever be that simple :(

i'm sorry, amiee. i too will hope for the magic joint pop that will make everything feel better. i really hope this is just a minor setback and that you can get it all sorted without too much difficulty.

a pizza oven/smore/gelato spook fest is in the works -- probably next weekend. also, PARKS AND REC SEASON FIVE OMG OMG OMG.
