Had a pretty chaotic day at work so I walked all the way home hoping to work out the funk. Swung by a certain Avenues porch to pick up my weekly vegetable share and already put down an entire Minnesota Midget and a handful of tasty tomaters. Now I happy and virtually funk-less except for the kink in my back from lugging my melons for miles :)

we have been trying to grow melons all summer, but right now we only have one and it's smaller than a dime. it's very cute but it's also making me angry because i want to eat it. if we have any success, i'll save one for you.

Nope, Blue Spring! Best veggies ever!!! I would save you a melon, but I have now officially eaten them all :( They were about the size of a half dollar. I will see my farmers on Saturday and I have to get you one of their butterscotch candy tasting melons!
