3pm- Today I happened to not do a morning run because of various pain in my body. I got like an extra hour of sleep and it resulted in a great day. To kick off round 3 of decathalon we did some 110 hurdles and I took second in my heat with a time of something I actually forgot. Not very impressive placing though cuz my heat was no bueno. Man hurdles are really fun, I wish I was good at them. After that we ran a bunch of laps to get minutes in then we headed over to do the 200. That race was decent but I wasnt really feeling explosive and fast I only got a 27.27 but it was fun. Then we ran some 1200 loops and 800 loops and half of a 1200 then backwards for a fourth of a lap then a backwards 800 loop and we went to the high jump. By this time my inner thigh and calf were in lots of pain and I was sick of running on them so I stopped my time. Yesterday I was getting way pumped for high jump and so I was totally ready to jump like 8 feet. It is very fun to watch people fail in high jump ;) hillarious stuff right there. I had some decent jumps and people were not understanding that 3 strikes and your done so waiting in line took forever. Then it happened. We were at like 5 feet and some guy (I will not name him) landed on the bar and broke it. Since Jake broke the bar last year I will not be suprised if coach gets extremely furious when he finds out it got broke again. Anyways we will be continuing that event tomorrow after it gets duck taped. Gotta say, today was a great day.
