Decent day today, though I have been feeling sick.  Started off with the mile.  Short warmup due to lack of time.  Was in the fast heat, and my body still goes into shock running that fast cuz we haven't done any fast work. Started off with the leaders but got boxed in 2nd lap.  Then surged up, but it was too much, and I was too tired.  I ran a 4:25, so 2 seconds off state qualifying this year.  Then cooled down with AF, Garek, and a couple other dudes.

Warmed up for the 4x800.  Jamison first, Galen second, Justin third, me kicking it in.  Jamison got us a good lead, which we think he ran around a 2:02-2:03.  Then Galen went and got more of a lead with 2:04-2:05.  Then Justin ran and lost the lead a tiny bit but the weber guy was really fast.  Justin ran around a 2:05.  I got it at 6:12, with about a 4-5 second lead but Talon Hull was up for weber.  Went out hard, and went through the lap, with the lead, then heard Jamison, Galen, and everyone else yelling Talon's coming, or Go Talon.  Got to the final curve with a slight lead, and at the straight away still in first. Then Talon comes with a flying mamba and kicking hard.  I lost the lead and was giving up, but I saw him slow a tiny bit, and knew I needed to go for it. So I kicked hard, as Talon moved infront of me in lane 1 so I went around him in lane two and got him at the line with a sprinters lean.

Shout out to Talon who ran a freakin 1:56ish which is SO SO SO insane!!!!
