Got to the race just in time to watch Josh's mile.  He kind of died but he has had a good season.  Then Justin and Galen went.  They were cruising.  Justin ran 4:23 but .2 off of state. Then Galen was 4:26 and just died last 200 meters.  Then Craik in his 800 went 2:00.46.  Then Seth went 2:05.  Then later in the golden hour, Jamison and I warmed up for our race.  It was faster pace cuz coach said we should warm up like that but I really didn't like it.  Also one of our coaches gave us a shot block but I didn't like taking it.  Not gonna take one again.  Got to the line and we were off.  Came through 64, then 2:09.  Then third lap we started gaining on casey mckay patrick and logan.  Then they took off 400 left.  I was feeling great til 550 left then my body just got exhausted.  Went fine til last 100, then mentally gave up.  Slowed way down and got passed by 3 people, which I would have gotten 8th in the golden hour.  So should have stayed stronger, but not disappointed with a PR. Also Jamison was .4 off from state which was too bad.

Shout out to all the cool people I met today and talked to especially Lehi cuz I talked to them for a while and met Sami from frb for the first time.

Also shout out to Jamison because he told me what an excellent smoothie is at Roxberry while he was working there.

Later spencer texted and asked if I wanted to go run so went 5.26 miles with him.
