Nice Miles under the moon. Tuesday is hill workout day. It felt great Breathing hard in the dark. 5 miles in the wind and core work out at the gym. I had all i could eat pizza at Pizza Hut for 5 bucks. I now regret the all i could eat part. |

I got a text at 5 am in the mornig from Bigfoot. He said he is back and that he is going to kick my butt in Dogtown. After that, i got fired up and went out and did 10.5 miles. Bring on Dogtown.

I woke up and met a man who was 6' 2" and full of muscle. We drove off to the start of the Dog Town Half. From the start i was chasing him the entire way. Managed to finish in 129:27 Not to bad for a training run. Then afterwords I ran 7 more to finish off my 20 for the day. 95 for the week.

| It was a good day to meet up with friends and Run a half marathon. All the stars were there. Dave, Clyde, Steve, Buddah, Bigfoot and Mustang. I had a decent race. Not a great race. But much better then St. George Half. There were about 900 people running today and many out of town people. The first mile was on pace and i just wanted to try to keep a fairly even pace. All the elite runners were out of site after mile 2 and i was with the second group of guys. Bigfoot put the hammer down and started seperating from me around mile 3. Budah did the same. I just kept the pace even and i did not want to go to much faster. trying to save some for the last 6 miles. Aounnd mile 7 things started to click and i found some energy. So i picked up the pace to 6:18 and held that until the Hill around mile nine. The Hill was a Bear but i managed to push over it. From that point my pace was in the 6:40 Range to the finish. Left hamstring is a little tender. But the body feels great, and i can resume training Monday. |
