Day-off and I needed it.  My heel on my right foot was sore causing to walk different, but not quit with a limp.  My left under my toes (which has had some discomfort for about 3 weeks now) was bothering me.

Really thinking that I won't run the Half Marathon on November 7th and just call it quits for racing the rest of the year.

The temperature was 37 degrees outside with a decent wind.  I didn't feel cold only the hands in the last mile.  I did know how the heel was going to react today, but it didn't seem to bother me.  I can still feel something there, so I need to really monitor that.

Totals:  10.32 miles at an overall 7:08 pace in 1:13:34.  I'm still coughing a lot and don't feel quite there yet with the runs.

Ran up Satterfield (loop) where it started to snow.  Temperature was 35 degrees.  "O what fun it is to run in a snow filled street", not quite on the street, but snow covered fields.  Ran 12.32 miles at an overall 7 minute pace in 1:26:09.  Ran the last 4 miles faster (6:42, 6:01, 6:23, 6:42), didn't really push it or even look at my garmin the whole time, and I really didn't care.

Home sick with my daughter again.

19 degrees outside.  Really did get cold just the hands.  Still not fun running when it's cold.  You feel slow and just don't feel like you can pick up and get a good fast pace going.  I guess that's why winter is good to build aerobic base if your running outside.

Total 10.51  miles at an overall 7:08 pace in 1:14:52.  Did last mile at 6:33.  I went to work today but my daughter is still home sick...  She had 101 fever this morning.

Run with Barry today down Pocatello Creek Rd. to my house.  Great conversation and he did great coming back from being sick.  I was worried about him last week, but we did great.  Temperature was warm at 39 degrees.  I felt toasty running.  I felt Barry on the last 1.5 of the run just to speed up.

Totals 9.1 miles at an overall 6:30 pace in 59:11.  Splits: (warm-up mile then:  6:21, 6:14, 6:13, 6:34, 6:29, 6:37, 5:50,  cold down 6:59).

Fun run with Barry now off to take my son to last tee-ball game, and then trick or treating with the kids.
