Ran Pocatello Creek Dr. by myself. My wife dropped me off at the top of the Pocatello Marathon course. I did at mile 7 turn up Olympus Rd. to get some uphill. I was pretty zapped by the last mile. But it's my fastest run since the recovery of the accident. I was a good run by myself and I felt good. 9.2 miles at an 6:38 overall pace 1:01.
6:49 (Downhill: Faster than I wanted to)
6:15 (Downhill: again faster than I wanted to. It's been so long since I've paced myself to stay consistent) 6:28 (Flat and Downhill: This is the pace I wanted for the whole run) 6:15 (Ok little faster but it felt comfortable) 6:27 (Flat and Downhill: Felt good and comfortable again trying to stay in a consistent balance)
6:19 (flat part: feeling good)
6:46 (flat part: just relaxing)
6:51,(Uphill and downhill, flat all in one for this split. I think the uphill did fatigue me as I tried pushing)
7:14 (cool down, but I was pretty tired)
